Brent Stief

Brent Stief started Huron Forest Products Inc. 18 years ago. Prior to this, he worked for, owned and managed a concentration yard for 21 years.

Currently, Brent is past president of the NHLA.  He has been involved with and president of numerous industry associations over the years including CHB, CLA and WLDA. For 30 years, Brent has been active in export sales to most continents, especially Europe and South Africa. He has developed a long list of suppliers that can deliver cost-effective solutions in all species, including sorted, ripped, color-selected and random lumber.

Shaun Rowe

Shaun’s family has been involved in the lumber business for three generations. He started his lumber career in 2003 with Aurora Timberland. His responsibilities were purchasing mainly poplar and red oak for their millwork operation. Shaun also became active in sourcing and selling direct shipments to end users throughout Ontario and the United States. His experience in sourcing practical solutions made him an excellent fit for Huron Forest Products.

Shaun is a graduate of the NHLA’s Inspection Training School. He is the current chairman of the Canadian Hardwood Bureau.
